Meet the Author Who Brings Stories to Life

The author, Benedict T. Maresca, aims to introduce and spark curiosity, as well as, encourage conversations between children and adults about scientific concepts. This series is to introduce basic scientific elements to children for them to continue to explore. Benedict Maresca lives in South Carolina with his wife Amie. They have two boys, Troy and Joseph. He was raised on Long Island, New York and attended La Salle Military Academy. He volunteered as an assistant to his chemistry professor, where he discovered his love for the sciences, especially chemistry. He attended the prestigious Citadel Military College where he received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He continued his education in the fields of Molecular and Cellular Biology as well as Organometallic Chemistry. He has been in the chemical and biological industry for over 30+ years and is the Technical Director for Martech Research, LLC., a research and development company creating environmentally friendly products
